Further to my post regarding the change of start back date after Easter for the Croston School, I would just like to clarify that Trinity and St. Michael’s Primary School had always intended for us to close for the two Saturdays (30th March and 6th April). This has clearly been a misunderstanding on my part, for which I apologise to all concerned.
I am currently trying to organise some classes during the second week of the school holidays to make up for the ‘missed lessons’ — details will follow a.s.a.p.
With regard to the cancellation of classes due to bad weather, there have been co-operative discussions with school and they have confirmed that providing we feel that pathways can be cleared by ourselves (with the aid of grit / sand on site at school) they would not wish to restrict our opening. If things were extremely bad however, the final decision will rest with them. Let’s hope we’ve seen the last of the snow for some time though!
